After spending years as an editor for wedding magazine, Ruffled, Ashley knew and loved my work. When she found the man of her dreams and decided to get married, she reached out to make the match official for her wedding photographer! Ashley got ready in her mother's colorful, eccentric home and the couple tied the knot in the incredible backyard garden, carefully grown and curated by her step-father.

This day was about enjoyment for their whole crew of loved ones, and every single person helped contribute to the day, from setting the tables, to making the ceremony art, and collecting florals to display. It was evident that this very special group of people loved each other and the couple deeply, and it was a perfect day of celebration.

Seldom does a backyard soiree hit all the right notes to land on Martha Stewart Weddings, but this one certainly did. The eclectic and personal touches throughout the day ensured the experience was a true reflection of the bride and groom.
