It has always been sitting on my bucket list – a given, really. I knew I’d get there eventually. I had visions of being in an RV, retired and gray and making the cross-country drive with my husband and grandchildren. It was out there, in the far distant future. However, I realized somewhere along the way that I was waiting to experience something that I could just as easily tackle right now. So we set out to attack that bucket list with a pen, and scratch through as much as we possibly can.
We started in Phoenix and I had the opportunity to photograph the amazingly talented and beautiful Ale Vidal of Imaginale during a shoot with her sweet hubby, and then we drove up to Sedona. We hiked up Cathedral Rock (and I didn’t pass out from the staggering heights – yay me!) and enjoyed some time in this gorgeous, spiritual town before heading to the Grand Canyon. We hiked in the snow to a beautiful viewpoint and soaked up the unbelievable scenes in front of us. From there we made it up to Page, Arizona and Antelope Canyon before heading back for our flight home. I still can’t quite believe we fit so much into our trip, but it was worth every mile.
All film shot on Contax 645, mostly with Ektar 100. Arizona Travel Photography Scanned by the team at Photovision.

This was just a bit of my Arizona Travel Photography, more coming from what is sure to be an amazing journey from San Diego to Ferndale, CA next week!
