A few weeks ago I was able to capture a lovely jewel of a wedding day on the waterfront in Maryland, in the beautiful little town of St. Michaels. I can’t yet share much from the ceremony or reception, but just couldn’t resist teasing a little taste of the rugged, captivating, rain-covered romance. When I first met Katie and Ben via Skype from Abu Dhabi, I knew they must have a story. As a journalist and producer for CNN, Katie was both a spell-binding person and beautiful bride. I started the day off by incorporating her beloved newspapers as a fun aspect of styling the details of their wedding, truly fitting of a day for the record books.
