I started my career and gained notoriety for my unique ability to harness the beauty of film images. In 2020, as film production was compromised in Asia temporarily, I made it a mission to develop digital edits that mimicked my film work and have been thrilled with the results.
Now, my clients HAVE THE CHOICE of keeping things all digital, or adding in the special nuance, feeling and magic of medium format film if they feel called to it - at no additional charge.
Film images are captured on various vintage and modern film cameras, with predominately medium format Kodak film. Film is developed locally, and uploaded within your gallery the same way images taken on a digital files would be. Easy as that.
As a former professional historian, my time in archives gave me a special affinity for the magic of film photographs. Small pieces of art made with light and not with pixels turn the imperfect into beloved, timeless storytelling.
I love when clients want to include a film option, but rest assured if you prefer only the sharp, clean images, they will still be approached with the same eye and edit you've come to know in my work.

Just as I love to lean into the technology of the past to capture the special aspects of film, my work also incorporates modern advances including drone photography work.
I am a certified drone pilot, and often pull it out to document a wedding's outdoor spaces such as tented venues, cocktail hours and some ceremonies (if clients request).
This is a complimentary perk, but not guarenteed due to weather or restrictions.
